Definition & Explanation
In the simplest terms, most experts and collectors consider any item over 100 years old as “antique”, while those less than 100 years old can be considered “vintage”.
Obviously, based simply on the number of years gone by, the volume of cameras available in the open market means the majority of my collection falls into the “Vintage” category.
